APRIL 8, 2016 (Sat), 9:00am – 7pm

Location: Vancouver Island, BC

Join us for a one-day retreat — at a beautiful location south of Nanaimo, BC, on Vancouver Island — where we work with guided breath work sessions, artistic expression, embodied presence, and silent meditation. We will be exploring deeply the relationships we have with ourselves, others and the Divine.

You will have the opportunity to move through and beyond the stories that inform your personal narrative into the vital and thrilling connections that are available with everyone and everything, always.

Russian mystic G.I. Gurdjieff told his students that the only aim worth pursuing is to be able to BE. The beauty and simplicity of relaxing into the simple ease of being is something that eludes many sincere seekers. When we are able to cease struggling against who we are and accept and embrace our wholeness in every moment we can begin to actualize our creative potential in ways we may have never dreamed possible.

This retreat also incorporates walking meditations on nearby trails, an integration circle, and the sharing of a meal prepared by the group. Participants will also be invite to share musical offerings or spoken word.

This retreat will be led by Bruce Tobin, PhD, RCC, ATR, and Kevin Parker, MA, RCC.

Bruce Tobin, PhD, is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Child & Youth Care at the University of Victoria. He has trained with Dr. Stanislav Grof, and is a member of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies.
