CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS
Note: To PPF/CE registrants who attended/were logged in during the actual forum/workshop days in its entirety, and who paid their CE administrative fees, your respective CE certificates should have been emailed approximately 3 – 5 weeks after the Forum. To CE registrants accruing APA CE hours via Spiritual Competency Resource Centre (SCRC), as long as you paid your CE fees and attended/were logged in during the actual day(s) in its entirety, provided all necessary information, and completed your evaluation surveys, your details will be submitted to SCRC by Nov 25th, for processing. Thank you for your patience as we consolidate and cross-check our information.
Training/continuing education credits are offered to health providers (including clinical counsellors and psychotherapists, psychologists, nurses, and family physicians).
Psychedelic Psychotherapy Forum is approved by the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) to offer continuing education for psychologists. The Psychedelic Psychotherapy Forum maintains responsibility for the program. CPA has approved the 2020 Forum for 24 CE hours for the 3-day forum; 8.5 CE hours for post-form workshop/Oct 17; and 6 CE hours for post-forum workshop/Oct 18.
We are also pleased to announce that Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) has pre-approved the 2020 Forum for 25 CECs for the 3-day forum; 8.5 CECs for post-forum workshop/Oct 17; and 6 CECs for post-forum workshop/Oct 18.
In addition, this Self-Learning program has been approved for up to 12 Mainpro+ credits (for 3-day Forum) and reviewed by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) and is awaiting final certification by the College’s British Columbia Chapter.
Note that psychiatrists are also able to claim CME credits as a Personal Learning Project (PLP).
*Cost for healthcare professionals who want training credits through CCPA, CPA, and CFPC — a nominal flat fee of CAD25 + GST.
Due to the labour intensive nature of processing CEs — including the detailed application processes, coordination with presenters, administering and tracking attendance over the digital platform, distributing certificates of attendance, and collating evaluation surveys/registrant feedback, PPF2020 levied a nominal CE administrative charge for those who want to attain training credits.
If you just need a general Certificate of Attendance for your participation at PPF2020 (not associated with any of the above associations/colleges), the nominal CE fee still applies.
